Dr Samuel Dufu encountered the teachings of ECKANKAR in Ghana in the mid-seventies and registered as a full member in 1982. In 1988, he was appointed a member of Clergy of Eckankar, and two years later was appointed the Regional ECK Spiritual Aide, a representative of the Spiritual Leader of Eckankar in Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Sam is the chairman of the ARB Apex Bank of Ghana. He is married with four children. He enjoys reading and research in scientific and spiritual matters.
